Welcome to "Take Five," Your PS 90 Online Music Education Community

This is exciting stuff! I will keep you posted on this site. You can check the date for upcoming, music-related field trips. You can check out some of the cool links I've provided. If you want to know more about recorder, keyboard, drums, or chorus check out the links on those pages.

Have you had a class experience where we were learning a song on recorder and you just couldn't understand it? Do you wish you had a one-on-one lesson to help you? Well, I'm working on it! Soon, I plan to post some videos of short lessons on how to play a particular song. I'll have them for recorder and for keyboard.

So, speak up!!! Add your comments, questions, or just say hello on this page. Keep it positive!

Thanks Mohamed!!! Glad you like it. This is just the beginning. I'm working on loading up audio and video links. When that's complete, I think it will truly be an awesome website and will help PS90 students become awesome musicians! -Mr. McG.

Mohammed - YES! I'd love to have you in the chess club. I was actually thinking about that today because I recently found out that you play chess. Check out the new link on my site. Tuesday!!! Lunch period. After the Carnegie Hall trip (when things slow down a bit), I may take the chess club twice a week. Also, I'm allowing chess club members to borrow chess boards during lunch if they wish.
